In our course for children, we will study fashion trends together, learn how colors and textures turn clothes into art, and learn how to draw your own fashion sketches. Lesson 1: Introduction to Fashion Design
Theory: Brief overview of the history of fashion and its main trends.
Practice: Drawing your ideal outfit. Discussion of why children chose these elements and colors.
Drawing on dotted silhouettes, trying out different materials.
Lesson 2: Prints and patterns
Theory: Review of popular prints and patterns.
Practice: Creating your own print for clothing using stencils and fabric paints.

We will learn how to create something modern and fashionable using such an old element as a stencil.
We will make several print options, try to print them on paper and fabric. You can bring your own clothes to which we will apply the print.

Lesson 3: Basics of constructing a fashionable figure
Theory: basic principles of constructing a fashionable figure.
Practice: We will learn how a fashionable figure differs from a regular one. Let's learn how to draw basic poses for drawing clothes
Using a construction grid, we will learn how to build a human figure.

We will give a typical figure a finished look, and start making a “doll” for a three-dimensional demonstration of our collection.

Lesson 4: Modeling
Theory: we will learn the basics of clothing modeling, what elements it consists of and what you should pay attention to when creating your own clothing collection
Practice: using our master model, using collage, origami and other improvised means, we will create three-dimensional fantasy outfits

Lesson 5: Fashion sketching
Theory: we will learn what fashion sketching is, what subtleties exist and what materials fashion designers use in their work
Practice: Using the image of our model (doll), we will practice sketching our favorite clothing collections

Lesson 6: From the general to the specific
Theory: The first stage of creating a collection. What is the technique “From the general to the specific”
Practice: Let's do the first stage of creating our own collection.
Where does a collection begin? Let's create low-detail prototypes of our collection.

Lesson 7: Creating your own clothing collection.
Theory: What are the main rules for creating a clothing collection? What do professionals follow?
Practice: Based on the first stage of the collection, we will work out each image in more detail. We will create a show structure (the order of models coming out on the catwalk).
We are at the finish line before the main event for every fashion designer - the collection show. In this lesson, we will work out our products in more detail.

Lesson 8: Preparing for the project presentation
Practice: We are finishing the final touches of our collections, preparing presentations of collections and ourselves as a Fashion designer
