Schedule: Saturday 10:00–11:45 and 12:00–13:45
Class is 1.5 hours long with a break for a snack (tea, fruit, cookies)

ABOUT YHE COURSE
  • Immersion into the world of architecture for children aged 7-12: creating projects of bridges, towers, residential and public buildings, studying various styles and works of famous architects. The course will help develop creative potential and learn to implement their ideas in models and projects.
COURSE PROGRAM
1. Project development:
•Creating models of bridges, towers, residential and public buildings.
•Discussing ideas and implementing them in drawings and models.

2. Studying composition:
•Basics of composition in architecture.
•Principles of harmony and balance in architectural projects.

3. Architectural styles and famous architects:
•Getting to know different architectural styles: from classical to modern.
•Studying the work of famous architects and their key projects.

4. Practical classes:
•Working with different materials to create models.
•Practical classes in creating drawings and models.

5. Developing creative thinking and teamwork skills:
•Stimulating creativity through individual and group projects.
•Developing communication and collaboration skills when working together on projects.

6. Search for ideas and inspiration:
•Learn to find ideas and inspiration in the world around us.
•Use the ideas found to create unique architectural projects.

7. Presentations:
•Learn the skills of designing and presenting your work

JULIA OSKOLCOVA
An experienced architect and talented interior designer with a Master's degree in architecture. During her Master's degree, she took part in an exchange program at BTU Cottbus in Germany, where she gained unique international experience. Julia actively participated and repeatedly won prizes in various architectural competitions, festivals and workshops.
Working as an assistant to a teacher of architectural design at the Institute of Architecture and Arts of SFedU, Julia gained valuable teaching experience. Her approach to teaching is based on inspiring students and developing their creative potential.
Julia sincerely believes that architecture is not just a science, but also an art that requires inspiration, creative thinking and the ability to see beauty in the world around us. Her mission is to teach children to seek and find inspiration in everyday life, think outside the box and confidently implement their ideas in architectural projects. Under the guidance of a teacher, your children will immerse themselves in the amazing world of architecture and acquire skills that will become a solid foundation for their future success.
